What did you do before joining the team at Hicks Roofing Inc.?
I have been in the roofing trade since 1973 when I got out of the Navy.
How did you get started with Hicks Roofing Inc.?
I contacted Mike Hicks about a possible position and it seemed the timing was right.
What do you like the most about your job or position?
The people here. I have worked at several roofing companies but have never experienced the support that I have received here. The staff and field personnel are great.
What’s the most interesting project or thing you’ve done while at Hicks Roofing Inc.?
I just finished securing a contract for a large job in Canton which is probably the most gratifying so far.
If I could have any job in the world, it would be?
I have it.
For relaxation I really enjoy?
Camping, boating, bicycling, golfing and I try to sing a little although my family wishes I wouldn’t.
Growing up, the first job I ever had was?
Working on a chicken farm seventh grade through high school.
The worst job I have ever had was?
Working on a chicken farm.
People might be surprised to know that I once.
Am a part time police officer
What kind of car would you most likely be found driving?
I love pick-up trucks
I was born in?
Dover, Ohio 1950
My weekends are usually spent doing what?
Camping at Atwood Lake and enjoying time with my family.
The thing I most dread in life is?
Mondays
If you could meet one person who would it be and why?
Johnny Cash. I would just like to talk to him about his life experiences.
If you were an animal, what would you be, and why?
A mouse, because elephants are afraid of them and also a certain person in our office turns into a real wimp if he sees one.
When I retire, I picture myself?
Spending the winter in Florida and summer here in Ohio and enjoying my grandchildren.
The most important person in my life is?
My wife. Without her I wouldn’t be the person I am today. She is my guidance and my strength.
The one thing I have that I cherish most is?
My relationship with my wife, son and daughter.
If I were a tool, I would be a hammer. Why?
I would hit the nail on the head every time.
My favorite thing in my garage is?
Bicycle
The favorite thing on my desk or in my office is?
My pictures of family members.
